Dutchtown High School
Dutchtown versus Ola was a strong way to begin a tough football season. Dutchtown came out and played tough hard nose football versus Ola which was a team that beat Dutchtown last year 20-19. This year was not the case. Dutchtown was able to put up 39 points and hold Ola to only 7 points. Senior QB Nolan Gomes completed 6 out of 13 passes for 81 yards, Shanaan McKoy rushed 15 times for 88 yards and 2 TD’s. Nolan also rushed 7 times for 58 yards, Samir Trawick had 1 carry for 27 yards 1 score, and Chris Coneway had 4 carries for 15 yards and 1 score. Fulton WIlliams had 4 catches for 67 yards. Defense played lights out and brought that HAMMER to Ola’s offense all night long.Defensive Backs Chris Joyce with 7 tackles, Trey Dean with 2 tackles 1 forced fumble Ja’Shaun Poke with 4 tackles, Tyree Clayton with 4 tackles. Linebackers – Adonis with 11.5 tackles, Kevon Glenn with 10.5 tackles, Kameron Haley with 5.5 tackles. D-Line – Keshi Waddell with 5 tackles 1/2 sack and a fumble Recovery, Monte Davis with 4 tackles 1.5 sacks, William Anderson tackles, 3.5 sacks. The Defense held Ola to a total yards of 172, and one of the states top backs to 62 yards on the night.
